NORTH LOGAN CITY COUNCIL

The North Logan City Council will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 in the City Council Chambers (meeting room) at the North Logan City Office (2525 North 600 East), North Logan, Utah beginning at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will also be available through a live stream at the following URL:

Current Action Items:

  1. 6:35pm Public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of revenue bonds (the 'Bonds') and the potential economic impact that the project for which the bonds pay all or part of the cost will have on the private sector, pursuant to Section 11-14-318 of the Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended.
  2. Consideration of a re-submital of a proposed updated City Center Development Plan for the Village Springs Subdivision, a 51-lot single-family development on Parcel ID: 04-060-0027, located at approximately 400E 2400N.
  3. Consider approval of a bid to construct a Chlorine Contact Chamber west of the North Logan City Water Treatment Plant.
  4. Consider a resolution approving the tentative dates and times for City Council and Planning Commission meetings for Calendar Year 2025.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NORTH LOGAN CITY, UTAH

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 11, 2024, the City Council (the 'Council') of the North Logan City, Utah (the 'Issuer') will hold and conduct a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of revenue bonds (the 'Bonds') and the potential economic impact that the project for which the bonds pay all or part of the cost will have on the private sector, pursuant to Section 11-14-318 of the Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended.

PURPOSE FOR THE ISSUANCE OF THE BONDS

The Issuer intends to issue the Bonds for the purpose of (1) financing a portion of the costs of improvements (the 'Project') to the Issuer's wastewater system (the 'System') and (2) paying the costs incurred in connection with the issuance and sale of the Bonds.

MAXIMUM PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF THE BONDS

The Issuer intends to issue the Bonds in an amount not to exceed $4,000,000.

THE TAXES, IF ANY, PROPOSED TO BE PLEDGED

The Issuer will not pledge any taxes of the Issuer for the payment of the Bonds. Instead, the Issuer will pledge, pursuant to a Master Indenture, the revenues attributable to the System for the payment of the Bonds.

TIME, PLACE AND LOCATION OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Issuer will hold and conduct a public hearing during a public meeting that is to begin at 6:30 p.m. on December 11, 2024. The public hearing will be held at 2525 North 600 East, in North Logan, Utah. All members of the public are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing. Prior to the public hearing, written comments may be submitted to the Issuer, to the attention of the City Recorder, 2525 North 600 East, North Logan, Utah 84341.
