NORTH LOGAN CITY COUNCIL

The North Logan City Council will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in the City Council Chambers (meeting room) at the North Logan City Office (2525 North 600 East), North Logan, Utah beginning at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will also be available through a live stream at the following URL:

The agenda is as follows:

Current Action Items:

  1. 6:35pm Public Hearing regarding a proposed plat amendment of the Mahogany Ridge Phase 5 and Phase 6 subdivisions to merge Lots 36 & 65 into a single building lot. The subdivision amendment also seeks to vacate the public utility easements currently occupying both sides of the adjoining side property lines of Lots 36 and 65 (15-feet total) (Parcel IDs: 04-188-0036 & 0065). Once a public hearing takes place, the City Council may consider approving the proposed plat amendment of Mahogany Ridge Phases 5-6, along with the associated vacation of the public utility easements along lots 36 and 65.
  2. 6:40pm Public Hearing to receive input regarding a proposed $0.30 per month increase to the Central Dispatch Fee - Emergency Response. After the public hearing the City may consider adopting a resolution, modifying the Master Fee Schedule to increase the Central Dispatch Fee - Emergency Response by $0.30 per month.
  3. Consider approval of a Preliminary Plat and Subdivision Improvement Plans for the Storage Downs Subdivision, a two lot commercial subdivision located at approximately 2042 North 200 West (Parcel ID: 04-080-0015).
  4. Consider approval of a bid to construct Rattlesnake Tank (A proposed Culinary Water Reservoir north of Green Canyon), along with the associated distribution water mainlines.
  5. Consider a resolution approving the use of formal eminent domain to acquire a portion of parcel #04-054-0013, located at approximately 2600N 1200E, for the installation of 1200 East roadway.
  6. Consider a resolution approving the use of formal eminent domain to acquire a portion of parcel #04-055-0007, located at approximately 2581N 1550E, for the installation of 2500/2600 North roadway.
  7. Consider a resolution approving the use of formal eminent domain to acquire a portion of parcel #04-088-0002, located at approximately 933E 2200N, for the installation of a portion of Elk Ridge Park.
  8. Consider adopting 2025 Election Officials and Interlocal Agreement for Election Services.
  9. Consider a resolution amending the Personnel Policy to include Appendix C: ACA Measurement Method.
  10. Consider adopting a tentative municipal budget for Fiscal Year 2026.
  11. Convene as the Redevelopment Agency (RDA) to consider adopting a tentative FY2026 RDA Budget.
  12. Convene as the Local Building Authority (LBA) to consider adopting a tentative FY2026 LBA Budget.

CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING:

- June 4, 2025 -

The North Logan City Council hereby announces three public hearings to be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 in the Council Room at the North Logan City Office (2525 N 600 E, North Logan, UT).

  1. 6:35 PM PUBLIC HEARING Public Hearing to receive public input on a proposed revision to the FY2025 Municipal Budget.
  2. 6:40 PM PUBLIC HEARING to receive public input on a proposed FY2026 Municipal Budget.
    Following the public hearings, approval of resolutions may be considered to adopt proposed changes to the FY2025 Municipal Budget and to adopt the FY2026 Municipal Budget. Information on proposed Budgets can be reviewed on or after June 2nd at the North Logan City Office (2525 N 600 E).
  3. 6:45 PM PUBLIC HEARING to receive public input on North Logan City compensation changes for municipal appointed, statutory, and elected officers for FY2026. Following the public hearing, approval of an ordinance may be considered to adopt compensation changes for city officers. Information on proposed compensation changes can be reviewed on or after June 2nd at the North Logan City Office (2525 N 600 E).

To all residents and landowners in North Logan City:

The North Logan City Council hereby announces a public hearing to be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 in the Council Room at the North Logan City Office (2500 North 600 East, North Logan, UT).

  1. 7:10 PM PUBLIC HEARING to receive public comment on the submission of an application to obtain financial assistance through a grant or loan from the Community Impact Board. The funding requested will be used to complete the STORMWATER MASTERPLAN. This would serve the NORTH LOGAN CITY STORMWATER SYSTEM.

Complete and detailed information regarding the project scope and financing, including funding options, project scope, implementation schedule, and potential impacts on residents will be discussed.

Following the public hearing, approval of this application may be considered.

  1. 6:35 PM PUBLIC HEARING - SUB-2024-04 - Village Springs 55+ Subdivision - Review of a Preliminary Plat, Subdivision Improvement Plans, Public Right-Of-Way Vacation (200 East), and a Development Agreement associated with the Village Springs Subdivision, a proposed 51-lot 55+ single-family subdivision, on Parcel ID: 04-060-0027 (~ 2300 N Wolf Pack Way).
  2. 6:45 PM PUBLIC HEARING - SUB-2025-04 - Easthaven Subdivision - Review of a Preliminary Plat, Subdivision Improvement plans, Public Right-Of-Way Vacation (1000 E), and a Development Agreement containing zoning modifications for a proposed 36-lot single-family subdivision in the R-1-20 zone (Parcel IDs: 04-051-0023, 0024, & 0030)(~2750 N 1200 E).
