NORTH LOGAN CITY COUNCIL

- AGENDA for November 20, 2024 -

The North Logan City Council will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in the City Council Chambers (meeting room) at the North Logan City Office (2525 North 600 East), North Logan, Utah beginning at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will also be available through a live stream at the following URL:

If you wish to participate in the public hearing, you may provide your comment in person. You may also email your comments to recorder@northlogancity.gov by noon on November 20th, and your comments will be read by the Mayor during the public hearing.

The agenda is as follows:

  1. Opening Business including:

Current Action Items:

  1. FY2024 Financial Audit Report Presentation by Allred Jackson.
  2. 6:40pm Public Hearing to receive public input regarding a proposed adjustment to the common boundary between North Logan City and Hyde Park City in the approximate area of 3100 North to 3165 North and between 1165 East and 1200 East (North Logan addressing).
  3. 6:45pm Public Hearing to receive public input regarding a proposed City Center Development Plan for the proposed Village Springs Subdivision, a 51-lot single-family development on Parcel ID: 04-060-0027, located at approximately 400E 2400N. Once the public hearing has taken place the Council may consider approval of the Development Plan for Village Springs Subdivision.
  4. 6:50pm Public Hearing to receive input regarding a proposed increase to solid waste collection fees. Once the public hearing has taken place, the City Council may consider a resolution, modifying the North Logan City Master Fee Schedule as it relates to Solid Waste Collection Fees.
  5. Consider a text amendment to Title 12 of the North Logan Municipal Code regarding development requirements within identified geologic hazard areas.

CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING:

The North Logan City Council hereby announces a public hearing to be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 6:40pm in the Council Room at the North Logan City Office (2525 N 600 E, North Logan, UT).

The North Logan City Council adopted a resolution on September 18, 2024 and the Hyde Park City Council adopted a resolution on September 11, 2024 stating their intent to change the common boundary between the two cities in the approximate area of 3100 North to 3165 North and between 1165 East and 1200 East (North Logan addressing). The affected parcels include 04-277-0004, 04-277-0005, 04-277-0006, 04-277-0007, and 04-277-0008. The details for the boundary change can be seen on North Logan City Website at www.northlogancity.gov or at the city offices at each city.

Pursuant to Utah State Code Title 10-2-419, the municipal legislative bodies will make the boundary adjustment unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the boundary change are filed by the owners of the private real property that is located within the area proposed for boundary change, covers a majority of the total private land area within the entire area proposed for annexation; and is equal in value to at least 1/2 the value of all private real property within the entire area proposed for the boundary change.

The public hearing is to receive public input on the proposed boundary adjustment. Interested citizens are invited to attend. If unable to attend, you may forward comments to: North Logan City Council, 2525 North 600 East, North Logan, Utah 84341; or the Hyde Park City Council at 113 East Center, Hyde Park, UT 84318. Comments received prior to the meetings will be distributed to the decision-makers.

The North Logan City Council hereby announces a public hearing to be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in the Council Chambers at the North Logan City Offices at 2525 North 600 East, North Logan, UT. A public hearing will be held for the following agenda item:

6:45 PM Public Hearing to receive public input regarding a proposed City Center residential development plan of 51 single-family lots at approximately 2300 North and Wolf Pack Way in the Single-Family-6 (SF6) zone. Information on this topic is available for review at the City Office.
