NORTH LOGAN CITY COUNCIL

- AGENDA for July 17, 2024 -

The North Logan City Council will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in the City Council Chambers (meeting room) at the North Logan City Office (2525 North 600 East), North Logan, Utah beginning at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will also be available through a live stream at the following URL:

The agenda is as follows:

Current Action Items:

  1. 6:35pm Public Hearing to receive public input regarding North Logan City's proposed application to the Council of Governments (COG) for funding for 200 East Roadway reconstruction, which would include a new signalized intersection at 1600N 200E. Following the public hearing, the City Council may consider approval of this application.
  2. 6:38pm Public Hearing to receive public input regarding North Logan City's proposed application to the Council of Governments (COG) for funding for engineering and improvements for a 1200 East 3100 North Roundabout (installation of a single lane roundabout with pedestrian crossings). Following the public hearing, the City Council may consider approval of this application.
  3. 6:41pm Public Hearing to receive public input regarding North Logan City's proposed application to the Council of Governments (COG) for funding for engineering and improvements for 1200 East Roadway (from 3175 N to 3290 N). Following the public hearing, the City Council may consider approval of this application.

City Council Work Session Items:

  1. Report from Fire Chief Thomspson regarding the latest Insurance Service Office (ISO) rating update.
  2. Updates regarding the North Logan City General Plan.
  3. Updates regarding North Logan's water capital improvement projects.
  4. Updates on Civic Center.

The North Logan City Council hereby announces three public hearings to be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2023 in the Council Room at the North Logan City Office (2525 N 600 E, North Logan, UT).

6:35pm Public Hearing to receive public input regarding North Logan City's proposed application to the Council of Governments (COG) for funding for 200 East Roadway reconstruction, which would include a new signalized intersection at 1600N 200E. - PUBLIC HEARING regarding TRUTH-IN-TAXATION August 21, 2024 -

The NORTH LOGAN CITY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.

  • The NORTH LOGAN CITY tax on a $648,000 residence would increase from $362.46 to $379.92, which is $17.46 per year.
  • The NORTH LOGAN CITY tax on a $648,000 business would increase from $659.02 to $690.77, which is $31.75 per year.
  • If the proposed budget is approved, NORTH LOGAN CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 4.98% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.

All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
