North Logan Road Projects Overview

North Logan City Streets Department has laid out careful long-range plans (including cost estimates) for both large road replacement and improvement projects, along with surface treatments (chip seal, crack seal, slurry seal...etc).  These plans are updated each year with current conditions of the roadways and other factors related to developments, grants, and other sources of funding. If you have specific questions related to any roadway, please, let us know.

600E Road Closure Details

Starting April 21st, 600 East from 2200 N to 2400 N will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Only residents living directly along this section should use the roadway during construction. Access for deliveries, emergency vehicles, and essential services will remain open at all times.

Safe Walking Route for Students During 600E Closure

In collaboration with Greenville Elementary, we’ve established a safe alternative walking route to school via the canal trail at 2200 N and 500 E, providing a direct path to the school.

800 East 2500 North Roundabout Construction

North Logan City will begin construction on the 800 East 2500 North roundabout project on May 5, 2025. The project is supported by an $800,000 grant from CMAQ. The intersection will be closed for the duration of the construction, which is expected to last until early August 2025. Traffic will need to detour to 400 East or 1200 East in this area. This project includes water and sewer upgrades, trail connection, and intersection lighting. This project has been in the works for a long time and we are excited for the construction to begin.

Community Center and Library Renovation Update

The Community Center and Library renovation project has been underway since August 2024, and we’re pleased with the progress made so far. This exciting project is being funded through generous community donations, and we are deeply grateful for the support we’ve received.

Construction on the Community Center is ongoing. While timelines remain fluid, we are hopeful that the Community Center will be completed sometime this fall or winter. Once it’s finished, the Library will begin moving books and materials in preparation for its own renovation, which is estimated to take approximately 6 to 9 months.

We are especially excited for the programs and events we’ll be able to host in the new Community Center. It’s going to be a true gathering place and a wonderful asset for our community, providing new opportunities for connection, learning, and celebration.

We are still actively collecting donations to help see this project through to completion. Thank you for your continued support and for being an essential part of making this vision a reality!

North Logan City Water Project in Green Canyon

The City of North Logan is undertaking a major water project in Green Canyon to increase water availability and production. Construction will take place throughout the summer of 2025.

During this construction period, the road to the Green Canyon Recreation Area will be impacted. There may be delays accessing and exiting the canyon due to construction activities. Please plan accordingly for possible disruptions.
